Strap Width
Strap width — also called lug width — is measured in millimetres (mm). To find yours, measure the gap between the lugs on your watch using a ruler or Vernier caliper.
The width of a two-piece watch strap is expressed as two numbers. For example, 20/18 — the first number (20mm) is the width at the lugs, and the second (18mm) is the width at the buckle end. A straight strap (e.g. 20/20) has the same width throughout; a tapered strap (e.g. 20/18) is wider at the lugs and narrows toward the buckle.

Strap Length
Strap length is also expressed as two numbers. For example, 120/70 — the first number (120mm) is the tail side, and the second (70mm) is the buckle side.
To find your correct length, measure your wrist with a measuring tape. If you don't have one, wrap a strip of paper around your wrist where you normally wear your watch, mark where it meets, then measure the length flat. Use your wrist measurement to select from the chart below.
| Size | Length | Wrist |
|---|---|---|
| X-Small | 110/65 | 5.90″ – 6.30″ (150 – 160mm) |
| Small | 120/70 | 6.30″ – 6.70″ (160 – 170mm) |
| Medium | 125/75 | 6.70″ – 7.10″ (170 – 180mm) |
| Large | 130/80 | 7.10″ – 7.50″ (180 – 190mm) |
| X-Large | 135/85 | 7.50″ – 8.00″ (190 – 200mm) |
If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller size for a shorter tail or the larger for a longer tail — whichever fits your preference. For example, a 180mm wrist fits Medium (125/75), but you may prefer Large (130/80) for a looser fit or a longer tail. If you need any assistance, contact us.

Strap Thickness
A ±3.0mm strap suits most standard watches. A ±4.0mm strap is better suited to Panerai and other large, robust watches with deeper case profiles.
These are starting points — thickness is ultimately a matter of personal preference and how the strap sits against your watch case.
Bund Pad Sizing
Bund pads sit between the watch case and your wrist. Choosing the right size ensures the pad fits flush under the case without overhanging the lugs.

Newman Bund Pad
The strap length for bund pad straps follows the standard 2-piece sizing in section 03 above. If you need further help choosing, contact us.
Single Pass Strap Length
Single pass straps are cut as one continuous piece of leather that threads through both spring bars. Because of this construction, total strap length works differently from a traditional two-piece strap.
Our Garrison and 2-Keeper single pass straps are available in three lengths. Use your wrist measurement from the chart below to select the right length.
| Size | Length | Wrist |
|---|---|---|
| Regular (R) | 240mm (9.5″) | 5.90″ – 6.70″ (150 – 170mm) |
| Medium (M) | 260mm (10.2″) | 6.70″ – 7.50″ (170 – 190mm) |
| Long (L) | 280mm (11.0″) | 7.50″ – 8.30″ (190 – 210mm) |
If your wrist falls on the cusp between two sizes (e.g. 170mm), choose Regular (R) for a shorter tail or Medium (M) for a longer tail, depending on your preference.
NAT2 Strap Length
The NAT2 strap uses a simplified two-length system based on total wrist size. Choose the length that matches your wrist measurement from section 03.
If your wrist falls on the cusp (e.g. 180mm), choose Regular (R) for a shorter tail or Long (L) for a longer tail, depending on your preference.
